Residential studio

3rd year | 1st semester

Our project aims to improve the well-being of urban dwellers by reintegrating natural elements into residential design. Our design principles include drawing influence from the environment, creating blurred boundaries between architecture and nature, incorporating multiple green areas, and encouraging activities that engage with nature. Inspired by the sea and organic forms found in Sde Dov, Tel Aviv, we blend natural and urban elements, using the Red Canyon as a model for our layered, retreating structure. The building features orthogonal exteriors facing the city and rounded, free-form interiors integrating with the natural surroundings. It aligns with urban lines while opening internally to connect with nature, featuring terraces, internal passages, an underground market, and public spaces. Apartments vary in size but maintain a fixed arrangement, with access through vegetated transition balconies and circular staircases linking garden spaces. The roof includes gardens and a natural pool, offering views of the sea and sunset.
