Technology studio

3rd year | 1st semester

The course aims to establish a framework specifically designed for artistic creation, emphasizing meticulous attention to construction details.

The chosen artwork for this project is "Swimming Pool" by Leandro Erlich, which creates an incredible optical illusion that allows for observation from both the exterior and interior perspectives of the pool.

The structure is designed underground, featuring a circular route that allows visitors to peek into the pool at various points and eventually enter the pool itself. The ground floor entrance is wide and seamlessly integrates with the existing grass in the square, providing a natural, inviting space for visitors to sit and observe the artwork.

Materials were selected for both durability and visual appeal. Poured concrete was used for the curved walls, flooring, roof, and stairs, ensuring a uniform and cohesive look throughout the structure. Glass was utilized for the entrance and the railing along the green roof, adding elegance and sophistication to the overall design. This combination of materials not only enhances the visual impact but also ensures the structure's longevity and integration with its surroundings.
